6 . Drop well-rounded , teaspoons onto greased baking sheets . 7 . Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden .
8 . Cool cookies on sheet on wire rack for 2 minutes . Remove cookies to wire rack to cool completely .
Notes
• Before baking , you can flatten the cookies slightly with the wet bottom of a glass ; they cook more evenly .
• Check the cookies at 8 minutes ; you ’ ll have to adjust the timing for each batch .
• The cookies are soft when they come out of the oven ; they firm up as they cool .
• Let the cookie sheet cool completely before baking the next batch . Otherwise the cookies will bake unevenly . If you don ’ t have enough cookie sheets , shape the cookies on sheets of aluminum foil while you wait for the cookie sheets to cool .
