Motion

A Historic Campaign for Gwynedd Mercy University

The Mercy in Motion Campaign united us in expanding our mission of fostering positive, global change through higher education firmly rooted in Mercy values. During the campaign, we honored our history during the University’ s 75th anniversary and opened the door to our exciting new chapter.

Goal 1: Fuel Healthcare Innovation

At a time of such great need for more nurses and other healthcare professionals, the campaign prioritized investing in a state-of-the-market new academic building, one that allows us to combine technological innovation with the compassionate, holistic patient care that is uniquely rooted in Mercy values – and one that would extend GMercyU ' s nationally recognized excellence in healthcare education.

Goal 2: Invest in Student Success

Education is a beacon of hope and a catalyst for change. A GMercyU education
imbues students with the skills, values and ethical compass to become the next generation of compassionate, pragmatic, and gifted leaders. Many of our students are the first in their families to go to college and many require additional financial support. To make a Mercy education accessible to all students, we must start with affordability.

Goal 3: Sustain Our Mercy Mission

To continue to be a much-needed force for good in the world and build on the legacy of the Sisters of the Mercy, we must continue to offer the kinds of immersive experiences that strengthen the Mercy values of our students, faculty, and staff. Annual and planned gifts sustain a culture of philanthropy and propel us forward.
The Mercy in Motion campaign advanced our rich history of meeting the next great need and served as a catalyst for innovation through Mercy values. Throughout the campaign, our vibrant community connected more deeply to the University and to each other through thoughtful philanthropy and meaningful engagement. Your participation in the campaign enriched our academic programs and sustained our core values of access and opportunity to education. We are grateful for your generosity and investment in advancing the lives of students who will continue to do good in their professions and communities. Thank you!
