ANTHEA NAUTA

Let your imagination drift away to a quaint country town in the Central West of NSW. Hidden away is the secret treasure trove of Finds on Fitzroy, and when we say 'treasure trove' we mean it in every sense of the word. Fancy a stack of vintage suitcases? Or maybe you're seeking a boho peacock throne to add a touch of gypsy whimsy to your abode? Whatever obscure, whimsical or magical item you can think of, we can almost guarantee it's passed through the hands of Lusi Austin, owner of Finds on Fitzroy, at some point or another.

Lusi has always had an affinity for pre-loved treasures and thrift-shopping (before Macklemore made it cool), so the progression into turning her superb finds into a business was quite organic. It started as an opportunity for her eldest daughter to learn some business skills and quickly progressed into a full-fledged family affair as the business took off.

You can be assured that every product is lovingly chosen as Lusi sources the products herself. She says that whilst being aware of current trends is important to her, she also loves timeless pieces like vintage bottles, crates; beautifully crafted chairs or lamps and sweet fabrics.

For such a young business, Finds on Fitzroy boasts a stellar client and fan base. Finds on Fitzroy's instagram has captured the attention of Neale Whittaker (Judge on The Block), Kara Rosenlund (Vignette Queen) and the talented Kate Cebrano to name a few. Be still our beating hearts!

So how do you get your hands on some of Lusi's goodies? Well, the good news for you is that you don't even have to leave your chair. Finds on Fitzroy is an online store, which means that instead of trampsing endlessly through opshops to no avail you can just pop online, make your purchase and have it delivered to your door.
