I have always had a passion for food. It’s taken me on some great culinary adventures,
from cooking fish for Mark Hix to baking bread with master baker Aidan Chapman. I’m now
head chef at Soulshine in Bridport, where the dishes we create tend to have a Middle
Eastern or Mediterranean flavour - from healthy salads and wraps to hearty brunches.
Food should be fun, which is why I’ve started BearKat Supper Club, which hosts nights
featuring some of the best food and drink the area has to offer, with a bit of
theatre thrown in. You only find out the venue and theme of the event on the day, which
adds an element of mystery. Each event will have a different flavour, and will feature guest chefs and mixologists, too.
