Oompf Energy
£1.99 a bar
Almost worth undertaking arduous exercise for, these raw energy bars and
balls are handmade in Dorset from natural ingredients. Dried fruit and nuts
provide the fuel for any kind of exertion and they are cold-pressed to lead the
fight back against oxidants and inflammatories. These bars are anti both and
have the pleasingly chunkiness of a 1970s Yorkie.

St Louis Dry Hopped Cider
Sandford Orchards, 5.5 ABV
This Great Taste Golden Fork winner was the result of
a chance meeting between Sandford’s cider maker and a
godfather of US craft brewing. It’s a successful marriage
of South West cider and American hops. The light
refreshing taste and hoppy finish would work well with
Mexican and aromatic Asian dishes.

Cutting a dash in any condiment sec tion, this ketchup
is made with crushed black garlic bulbs, tomatoes, olive
oil, balsamic vinegar and a blend of spices. The makers
recommend using it to accompany red meats, chicken and
scallops. Or add to casseroles, risottos and sauces. It looks
like ketchup at a black tie event.

La Mortuacienne Lemonade
£3.85 a bottle

90 years and are still made by the same family firm.
There are seven different f lavours: clear, cloudy, orange,
pink, grapefruit, mandarin, and pomegranate. And they
come in swing top bottles that don’t look like they’ve
been redesigned since the 1920s and could take a bunch
of f lowers once empty with some aplomb.
