Apple Syrup
Liberty Fields use
the apples from their
orchards in all sorts of
delicious ways. Joining
their vodka, balsamic
vinegar and apple
aperitif is this, Dorset’s
answer to maple syrup.
No sugar or sulphites
have been added, and you
can use it for everything
from sweetening healthy
breakfasts to indulgently
drizzling over desserts.
Or mix with lemonade to
make a fruit cup.

Live Enzyme Apple Cider Vinegar
£5 for 500ml bottle
More appley goodness although you wouldn’t
want to mix the bottles up with the Apple Syrup.
Apple cider vinegar is supposed to be so good for
you it should probably be on prescription. It’s
not just medicinal though and this example from
Dorset Nectar will add vinegary goodness to salad
dressings, pickles and slaws.

Pavé Cobble Sweet Vermouth
Whitelake Cheese £30.00 for 75CL, 18% ABV.
This year’s big cheese – Pavé Cobble
was named Supreme Champion at
the British Cheese Awards 2017. It’s
a handmade ewe’s milk cheese from
Somerset producer Whitelake with
a creamy, slightly citrus f lavour that
wowed the judges. The name is a
homage to difficult cobbled cycling
stages in the Tour De France.
