The Langton Arms is hard to beat. The
17th century thatched pub is nestled in a
small idyllic hamlet in the Tarrant Valley,
surrounded by gorgeous countryside. The
award-winning inn has a reputation for its
range of ales, great food and sunny
afternoons in the beer garden, complete with
a children’s play area. The converted stable
restaurant features locally sourced food and
vegetables from their own garden.
It’s the perfect Sunday lunch venue or
for a cosy evening meal
T
he New Inn was named inn of the year
in the Good Pub Guide 2015 and was
also awarded the county’s dining pub of the
year for the third time. This is largely down
to landlord Jeremy Lee, a former
Michelin inspector, who took over in 2012.
The pub serves a great range of food, from a
comforting burger to gourmet choices such
as truffle roasted chicken breast in Madeira
cream. The 16th century former coaching
inn is family friendly and serves a wide range
of real ales.
