In continuation, another activity was organized with the aim to deal with the
country realities. Participants were divided into groups according to their
countries, with the task to catch the state of nature and environment in their
countries. In order to do this, they had to analyze the three most read
newspaper and magazines to collect data about how often are the articles
tackling environmental issues put into them, how often are these issues
mentioned, who is dealing with these issues and in which way media present
environmental issues.
Different groups were given a task to prepare, to describe in pictures a wide
range of notions-topics such as nature, globalization, environment,
environmentalism, pollution, renewable energy, energy efficiency, recycling,
sustainable development, sustainable communities, ecology, green policies,
green movements, in order to foster basic understanding about the central
terms of the topic. Afterwards they had to created their own newspaper front
pages working with Canva.
