Dear reader,
I made this with the intention of addressing heartbreaks with Valentine's Day in mind, the devil's holiday for a lot of us (myself included).
I am not bitter about love, on the contrary, I am intrigued by it. I believe whatever type of love: romantic, platonic, familial, agape, playful, practical, or self, they connect people. It can connect them to others, themselves or the world.
To me, the universe balances itself. So, naturally, with love comes heartbreak. However, I associate heartbreak with loss, whether of a person, thing or even a concept. Loss is powerful, as is love. It's personal, it's universal.
I asked the people around me about their greatest heartbreaks. Heartbreak comes in various forms and people cope in various forms, unsurprisingly, I received responses in various forms. I dedicate this to all the heartbroken people. I'm here with you. Let me help to mend your broken heart.
