MEF’ s goal is to establish enduring leadership capacity for Chabad schools by investing in talent. To effect broad-based change and improvement in schools, MEF is creating a significant number of skillful teacher-leaders who can understand the full scope of excellence in education and are able to carry that vision through to fruition.
Promoting talent from within cultivates a school-wide culture of success. The leadership program emphasizes hands-on learning, practical skills, and ongoing self-reflection that enables educators to continue to refine their role as a leader, developing a highly-skilled principal that will best serve participating and future schools.
MEF’ s leadership programs build educators capacity to improve outcomes by:
• Helping leaders articulate critical questions and appropriate solutions
• Teaching reflection, inquiry, communication and focused action
• Working with leaders to use and disseminate data to inform decisions
• Assisting leaders to foster and implement innovation
• Providing customized mentorship from experienced educational leaders
