Chapter 5 middle school

When I first started middle school I was in seventh grade. The reason for that is in my elementary class it went from kindergarten to sixth grade. After sixth grade I moved to Texas where middle school started in sixth grade. My middle schools name was Wells Middle School. Going from New York to Texas seemed like I was going back a few grades because we were getting a higher education in New York than in Texas. It was pretty easy adjusting to the new school educational wise. Socially it was a little harder because the people in Texas used a lot of slang that the people up north did not so, also I was the only white person in all my classes but I didn’t mind that just made the people want to talk to me more than the rest of the people.

In middle school I used to have a bump that was below my eye called a cyst. Whenever I would wear my glasses nobody would notice it, but when I took them off it was a whole other story. Everyone always asked the same thing, “Who did you get in a fight with.” I would always respond “not a fight it’s just a cyst.” Nobody knew what that was so I would have to say after was it’s like a hard lump and they would be fine with that answer.

Going through middle school nobody pick on me nobody tried to fight me. I had plenty of friends so I could say that I had just a regular middle school experience.
