If I Could Get A Second Chance
If I could do things over again I would take more art classes in high school. Art was such a wonderful part of my life in middle school that I wish I had carried it on in high school, I miss creativity in my life. Another thing I would have done if I could go back is take duel credit US History instead of AP because I think I would have enjoyed it better. I am more at peace with this one because I did end up getting college credit in the end. I would also like to go back and worry less about feeling awkward and just go ahead and talk to people anyway. There are so many people around me that I am sure could be potential friends but I have never taken the chance to get to know them. These are all nit picky things, overall I have enjoyed my high school experience, I suppose all the lack of sleep is worth it in the end, and I have been thoroughly successful here. I am glad that I decided to do the activities that I did because each one strengthened me in a different way. My AP classes taught me to do whatever it takes to do well, choir taught me the power of music to touch others’ lives, cross country taught me about endurance and the meaning of practice, and the service club I started with my friends taught me the importance of leadership and that helping people should be the ultimate goal.
