Hi how’s it going? A few weeks on the job have already passed, and I am finding it quite interesting. I try to get to work at least 10 minutes early every morning. I have to tell you, though, it is a really hard thing to do. Catching the tube in the morning is almost impossible. I just barely make it on time for the 7:17 train to Woolwich Arsenal. From there, I need to travel all the way to Brixton, where my office is located. In the evenings, after I clock off, I need to travel all the way back. Sometimes when I leave the office a bit late, I run to the closest train station, run down the escalator really fast, and push my way through into the train. People here are not used to being pushed into the train. Here, in London, they all wait patiently for the train and then get on the train quietly and calmly. I have to say that I quite hate it. I stand still for about 35 minutes until I get off at the first station. Afterwards, I need to switch to a different train to get to Brixton. In the meantime, while I am standing still next to a guy, who hasn’t showered for at least two days, I have no other option than smelling his armpits in mid August. I can’t do anything about it! My god! I can’t even move two centimeters backwards. I can’t believe that it is already the 21st century and some people still choose not spray themselves with deodorant. This body odor is so pungent, I think I am going to faint. Does anybody here knows if smelling bad body odor for more than 30 minutes can harm you?
