The Chamber’s Committees and Board of Directors are made up of local business professionals who are
passionate about smart growth and quality of life in El Dorado. The success of the Chamber is due in large part to their time, energy and willingness to voluntarily serve.
As a membership-driven organization, volunteer committees are a key component to our success. Through the wisdom, time, talent and expertise of our committee members, we accomplish things that move our mission forward and at the same time help our members reach their potential.
The Ambassador Committee is an elite group that serves a two year term with the El Dorado Chamber of Commerce. They take the lead role in assuring that each of our member businesses is valued, represented and connected by calling on existing members to update them on current activities, policies, and special events as well as inquiring as to how the Chamber can best serve them. Ambassadors also act as official greeters at our events to help new members and first-time attendees feel more at ease and to introduce them to other members.
The mission of the El Dorado Emerging Professionals is to be EPIC, Engage People and Inspire Change. They work to bring young professionals together to engage with one another and the business, political and community leadership in an effort to improve our community and provide a voice for young professionals. Their goals include providing social and networking opportunities, collaboration with other committees, and community outreach.
Whether you’re new in town or have opened an additional branch or office, let the community know with an official Ground Breaking or Ribbon Cutting Event. We’ll provide a chamber representative, help you connect with your target market, and provide assistance to make your event a success. What a great way to create public awareness about your business!

Kansas SBDC-The broad mission of Kansas Small Business Development Center at Emporia
University is to help start-up and existing businesses grow and prosper. The center serves
individuals interested in starting or expanding a business through training seminars and workshops, free tools and templates, and one-on-one consulting right here in our Chamber office.
