Learning is a continuous process and she
seeks out opportunities that will allow her
to improve, be it then conferences and
now webinars, perpetually fine-tuning her
creative streak, conjuring up new ways to
bring joy through face-painting.
Her artistry has now expanded into the
creation of napkin ring holders, beaded
jewellery, seasonal wreaths and pretty giftbags.
“When I use this talent and someone is
touched in a meaningful way, it is always a
humbling experience,” Johanne shared, “and
for any painter, it is gratifying!”
When things return to some semblance of
normalcy post-Covid-19, you will most likely
find Johanne during the summer months
under her tent at the Montreal Caribbean
Carnival, at Kiddies Carnival and Movies
in the Park, face-painting joy on faces and
