Darby’s
Cave
Darby’s Cave is surrounded by
lush, tropical vegetation, north
east of Codrington Village. The
cave is a huge sinkhole, 350 feet in
diameter with cliffs about 70 feet
high. Within this sinkhole is a mini
rainforest into which adventurous
visitors often descend. In addition
to seeing the interesting stalagmite
which has formed from water
dripping into the cave over the
years, visitors may also see deer
and land turtles in this centuriesold
cave.
