Mega Artists Magazine Issue 5 | Page 4

EDITOR’S NOTE From the beginning it was only just a dream, an idea that needed only a passionate ambitious group of people to make it possible. It only needed a group of people with the same vision and an aim to embrace art particularly in our beautiful province, Limpopo. Without any source of funding we made it possible and now we are on Issue NO.5. Congratulations to us! Mega Artists Magazine is celebrating 1year anniversary. The month of August is a special month for Mega Artists Magazine. It was on this month on the 9th August 2014 Women's Day when we introduced Mega Artists Magazine to the world. What makes it more unique and special is that a phenomenal woman gave birth to our 1st Issue and yet again another influential woman featured on Issue NO.5 honored us to symbolize growth. She has breastfed us so that we can grow strong bones, sharp eyesight and a conscious active mind. When Mega Artists Magazine was born he was welcomed by skepticism, criticism, compliments and most importantly by optimism that kept us alive. All of these elements contributed in the growth of this 1 year old infant. In spite of all the adversities and privileges experienced we maintained focus and determination that resulted into consistency and relevance. The idea is still the same, no amount of hardship or excitement can derail us from the main objective. We are an art magazine; we are for art and nothing else. We will ensure that we cater to www.megaartists.co.za Issue no: 05 our readers exactly what they expect from us, which is all information art and the art industry. I would like to encourage you to start something as well, because if you don't start or do something someone will start something and call you to help them accomplish their dream. You need to stop idling and procrastinating ,though sometimes we procrastinate to establish our new venture because starting something is hard, regrettably in most instances we are our own worst enemies rigorously convincing ourselves that it's impossible, and unfortunately for most of us , especially the up-andcoming talented souls (singers, dancers, poets, writers etc.) we encounter daunting challenges that distract our focus towards our dreams and we end up throwing in the towel at first intimidating experiences and give up on ourselves. Don't allow that to happen, don't allow yourself to roam around doing nothing. Don't become complacent with the status quo; wallow in the pool of ignorance and blame everything and everyone. If you are doing it now it needs to change. If you want to live like a king you must first work like a slave in all harsh conditions so that you can lay down a solid foundation for your empire. And no one will demolish a dream nourished by your blood streams deeply rooted in your soul. It is ideal to stop idling and start doing something because if you don't, no one will do it for you and nothing will ever get done. Mega Artists Magazine started something which promises to be big in the near future. A lot will unfold in due time, because we are a patient bunch of creative people we like to be abstract and discreet. Keep your ears on the ground and your eyes on the ball. Thank you, Enjoy The Magazine Aug-Sep 2015 Page 3
