Top conference options in Hamburg, Leipzig and Frankfurt n“ Members in Focus” of GCB for the year 2013
The GCB German Convention Bureau e. V. is focusing the spotlight on three of its members in particular in the year 2013: the“ Members in Focus” are the CCH – Congress Center Hamburg, Leipzig Tourismus und Marketing GmbH as well as the Sheraton Frankfurt Airport Hotel & Conference Center.
The“ Members in Focus” represent outstanding examples of the diversity of event options in Germany: full-coverage distribution of good locations throughout the entire territory of Germany as well as various specialisation areas with convention centres, destinations and the hotel sector.

In its anniversary year, the agenda of the renowned centre includes major medical conventions and other events again. Examples include the 34 th German Evangelical Church Congress with more than 100,000 participants and the 96 th Lions Clubs International Convention Hamburg with 25,000 visitors expected.

When it was opened in 1973, the CCH was regarded as unique in Germany because of its size and complexity; in subsequent years it served as the planning model for new convention centres. Even today the CCH is one of Europe’ s most modern convention centres and roughly 300 different events take place there every year.
