In essence, this partnership brings together FSU, which has the infrastructure and resources of a major research university( FSU currently has a Carnegie Classification of“ Research University – very high research activity”), a College of Medicine ranked No. 1 in the state by U. S News and World Report for its primary care program, and AREF, a national center of excellence in orthopedic sports medicine which serves thousands of patients.
