The winners of these awards were automatically entered into the Medilink UK Awards , held in association with Med-Tech Innovation , which took place on 25th April 2018 at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry .
The Medilink UK Awards were hosted by the multi-talented , GP and comedy writer , Dr Phil Hammond , and brought 200 stand-out professionals from across the country , all under one roof to recognise significant contributions to the sector .
Medilink North of England ’ s CEO , Kevin Kiely , said : “ It was great to see the hard work and innovative spirit of UK life science companies celebrated in this way , with the ‘ best of the best ’ in British healthcare being acknowledged , at this sell-out , entertaining event .
“ It was particularly rewarding to see a Northern company , InHealthcare scoop both the Medilink UK Collaboration with the NHS Award and also the Editors Award ( Med Tech Innovation ) for HealthTech business . It ’ s a humbling experience to see the impact that our companies are having on the health and well-being of so many people .”
