MEDILINK NORTH OF
ENGLAND NEW MEMBER
ROSE PLASTIC
Medilink North of England are thrilled to welcome
packing solutions specialists, Rose Plastic UK, as
new members as of May 2019. Rose Plastic is the
worldwide market leader in plastic packaging for
precision tools and join the Medilink community with
decades of experience.
Beginning in 1953, Rose Plastic is known for the
development and production of plastic packaging
solutions, and knowledge in injection and blow-
moulding technology. Offering a wide range of
universally applicable packaging products, as well
as standard and custom packaging to the medical
and dental industry, the third-generation family
run business also supply to a large number of other
markets. Today, Rose Plastic is a global company
with manufacturing plants in Germany, United States,
China, Brazil and India, along with sales subsidiaries
in UK, France, Spain, Italy and Korea.
Offering both primary and secondary packaging for a
wide range of medical device products, Rose Plastic
are looking forward to being part of a community of
Medilink members from a variety of disciplines. From
protective tip covers, boxes, cases, and telescopic
packaging, the international company can help
provide a solution to a business’ needs whether it is
merchandising and display of products, or the secure
and sterile transportation of components.
Medical device manufacturers require a safe
packaging that is easy to handle and this is offered by
the TubeInTube. With a projected launch date in 2020,
the ‘tube within a tube’ is a double sterile packaging
that is ideally suited for bone screws in various sizes,
but can be customised to accommodate numerous
other implants. TubeInTube offers the functionality
of implants arriving already packaged and sterilized,
bringing them into the operating room — and handing
the sterile implant to the doctor without anyone
touching it. Compared to blistered sterile barrier
packaging, this allows businesses to simplify and
speed up internal procedures and handling, improves
safety, saves storage space, increases product
organisation efficiency and reduces waste.

Medezine is a successful manufacturer of high-quality healthcare
products offering cost effective solutions. Blueprint is a turnkey

the power supply unit in order for Medizine to reach overseas markets.
As a result, Blueprint have achieved a reduction in size, dramatic
cost saving and improved functionality, meaning that Medizine can
access foreign markets more effectively with this product. The project
included sourcing, electronic and product design, manufacture and
regulatory compliance. Medilink has provided a great opportunity for
both members to connect and work together, positively impacting the
