MENTORTEC - GROWTH THROUGH EXPERIENCE
Medilink has successfully delivered a project for the Business
Growth Hub in the vital area of business mentoring.
The programme, called MentorTec, is part of the Government’s
£2.6million Mentor Challenge Fund which will be helping small
businesses to access expert help to grow their business.
MentorTec will support mentees in areas that relate to a
number of business issues including; new growth businesses,
exploring finance to expand, setting new goals, facing a
business dilemma to just needing a second opinion.
Medilink recruited 14 mentors and 17 mentees for the
programme, which is to be delivered over the next 12 months.
In partnership with Medilink, the Business Growth Hub
mentoring team will be setting up mentoring partnerships that
suit individual industry expertise, available time and interests.
The Business Growth Hub collaborated with Medilink in order
to utilise the organisation’s sector specific knowledge and
connectivity to identify mentors and mentees in the north
of England.
The induction program will carefully match experienced
mentors with mentees to develop a professional and mutually
beneficial working relationship. Participation is on a voluntary
basis with mentors and mentees committing to work together
for 12 months, supported by the Business Growth Hub.
