HOW TO WEAR YOUR RACE & LICENCE NUMBERS

According to the ASA Rules and Regulations , athletes are required to display licence numbers in all competitions .

• The athletes with permanent licence numbers issued to them by their club and / or province must wear both numbers , one each on the front and back of their club vest or T-shirt . The race number issued to athletes at registration must then be fastened to the front of their vest or T-shirt , on top of the permanent licence , but with the top row of ASA province , year and sponsor ’ s logo on the permenant licence still visible . Failure to do so may result in disqualification .

• Athletes who are not registered with a club or province must wear a temporary licence number , which will be issued at registration and must be worn throughout the race on the back of their vest or T-shirt , while the race number issued at registration must be fastened to the front of the vest or T-shirt .
