In addition to the payment of Tuition and initial Registration Fees, the indicative Cadetship pay( based on the Jul 2025 AFPRB report) rates are as follows:

Typical starting salary on completion of specialist training: Accredited GMP Pay- starting from £ 100,453 if joining within one year of CCT, rising to £ 132,381 once one completed year post CCT is reached.

This illustration represents the normal progression of an individual who gains a cadetship in year 4 or their penultimate year if on a compressed medical degree program. An individual joining in their final year of their medical degree would start at the first level but move to Foundation Year 1 level on commencing Foundation Year duties.
