A Day In The Life
This change wasn’ t just about a new title; it was about growth, responsibility, and the thrill of navigating new territory.“ It’ s exciting. I’ ve come so far, and all the hard work has finally paid off,” Cynthia shares, her words full of anticipation for what’ s next. Days that once followed predictable patterns are now filled with executive decisions, big-picture thinking, and the kind of learning that keeps her growing alongside the company.
Now, Cynthia faces a patchwork of urgent requests, complex decisions, and opportunities to think on her feet.“ Of course, I have more responsibilities. I have a lot more items on my plate, but it’ s in a good way. It’ s very challenging... now I’ m forced to really think outside the box of a team lead. I’ m thinking more as an administrator,” she explains, always quick to mention that the new pace energizes her.
Cynthia’ s biggest priority is knowledge, learning every facet of operations— from accounting to payment processes to client retention— to master the bigger picture.“ I’ ve always been that person that you can rely on if somebody needs assistance with something,” she says, describing how her support for co-workers now extends to strategic guidance for the executive team. Where she once provided coverage and backup, now she’ s an instrumental force helping the company as a whole.
Challenges? Cynthia tackles them head-on. One of the biggest was finding her voice in higher-level meetings, learning to bring forward opinions and ideas that shape company decisions.“ I do bring valuable information and opinions to the team,” she affirms, recognizing the importance of speaking up in a room of leaders.
Her ability to reassure and problem-solve shines.“ I’ ve always been that type of person,” she says.“ I’ m a fixer.”

Whether soothing stressed staff or guiding clients through issues, Cynthia’ s empathy and practical skills keep the company running smoothly and morale high.

What accomplishment stands out? Cynthia remembers contesting a $ 200,000 insurance recoupment and whittling it down to just $ 2,000. That moment proved her tenacity and expertise, validating her place among industry leaders.
Her advice to anyone eyeing a career in medical billing or leadership is simple:“ Never come with the mindset that once you learn medical billing and coding, that’ s it... It’ s ever-changing, ever-evolving, and it’ s always going to keep you learning.” Cynthia’ s journey proves that growth comes from every challenge and every day spent lifting up her team.
