Letter From CEO
Dear
Readers,
This issue is personal because it reflects my journey,“ Scaling with Heart.” I started my career in outside medical billing, built an IT company, and learned how systems, people, and purpose must align for growth. These experiences shaped my leadership at Quick Claimers Medical Billing and Metro NeuroHealth.
When I entered healthcare billing, I saw practices burdened by confusing processes, aging A / R, and overwhelmed leaders who care about patients. I’ ve been that leader making tough decisions— hiring, firing, and knowing when to be patient or act fast. I understand the tension of balancing vision with doing right by your team and patients.
This issue focuses on practical human tools and stories. We discuss billing reports in clear language, showing where money is stuck, how to avoid allowing write-offs to creep up, and simple process changes that ease team workload. Understanding your numbers protects your revenue and peace of mind.
We also examine front-desk interactions, where first impressions and financial conversations begin. Small habits like capturing accurate info, setting expectations early, and discussing money honestly can build trust and keep cash flowing.
Most importantly, we connect with individuals who embody“ scaling with heart.” Cynthia Villalobos shares her journey as a revenue cycle leader, demonstrating that you can prioritize data-driven strategies while leading with empathy and humility.
Many face rising patient responsibilities, tighter margins, and change. You want growth without losing your practice’ s soul. I hope this issue demonstrates that you can have both, with the right systems and people, and the courage to make tough choices.
Thank you for trusting us to support your practice, communities, and teams with courage, even in tough times.
With appreciation,
Rosebell
