This magazine is a deliverable of the Media Tour Ex-
perience, a Senior Journalism elective course. Being
a digital magazine, it is meant to incorporate more
than just text and pictures, but also videos.
I
t is a great privilege being the part of the able team that
champions of the first Media Tour digital magazine; a prod-
uct of the senior Media tour class. Being the pioneers of this
course in the new journalism program that started in 2014,
meant that we blaze the trails, something that we did with
pleasure.
In this magazine, we try as much to share our experiences
of the tour through stories, interactive videos and pictures of
the different places we visited. Individual experiences can fill a
whole book but we try our best to share the highlights here.
Our main attraction at NBC Studios allowed us to experience
the intense making of a firsthand live show, On Air which you
can watch in the magazine.
We would like to thank Bonfire adventures for making the trip
a reality especially Annette for being, patient, professional, kind,
considerate and self-sacrificing in ensuring everything went
well even when we were miles away. To our parents and guard-
ian, we are forever indebted to you for gifting us this experience.
Our instructor Dr. Stephen Kimotho, thank you for being
patient and understanding throughout the entire course peri-
od. Your direction taught us more than what we signed up for.

allowing this opportunity and letting us represent the school.
