2025 La Crosse Loggers Baseball There’ s No Place Like Copeland
“ Copeland Park is definitely a highlight in the Northwoods League.” ~ Ballpark Digest, Nov. 2008 Home of the Loggers
Copeland Park is located in the heart of La Crosse’ s northside on Hwy 53 along the picturesque Black River. The location and intimate setting, coupled with consistent sell out crowds, provide one of the Northwoods League’ s best atmospheres on a nightly basis. A giant wood baseball stamped with the Loggers logo captures fans’ attention as they enter the ballpark. This, along wth a pine tree backdrop surrounding the park, sets the stage for a true“ Northwoods” experience. The logsided press box, two log cabin suites, and the two wooden decks beyond the right field wall make“ The Lumberyard” an appropriate nickname for the ballpark. In fact, Copeland Park was a lumberyard in the late 1800’ s as workers would ship logs down the adjacent Black River making their living as“ Loggers”. An experience at“ The Lumberyard” would not be complete without endulging in the renowned“ Logger Dog”, a homemade foot-long hot dog from the concession stand!
Chair-back seating is available for nearly 2,000 fans and with each passing year, the Logger organization continues to add to the long list of available group packages. Group ticket options include two private cabin suites, an open-air suite, two party decks in right field, and a two-tiered private deck in left field. In 2014, upgrades to the ballpark included a new turf infield and large video board in left-center field. In 2018, the Loggers renovated the restroom area and made additions to the Dugout Clubs located down each baseline.
