What Next? Predict what might happen in a sequel to the film. Write down what happens to each character. Five truths, Five Lies Write down five true things about your film and five lies. Can you trick a friend/family member/ teacher? ~Memory~ Write about a personal memory or experience of your own that is similar to something you have seen in your chosen film. Personal essay style. Character Profile Write a detailed character analysis of the main character in your film and their function in the film. Change the Ending Write a new problem and new solution for your film plot. How does the ending change? ~Short Story~ Write a descriptive or narrative short story of the topic of your choice using the same genre as the film. (e.g. Dystopian) Poster Make a poster advertising your film using persuasive language, include a blurb. It should encourage people to watch it. Draw Draw a detailed artistic picture of your favourite part of the plot. Write two detailed paragraphs to explain it. ~Research the author~ Research the film director OR one lead actor. Create a detailed and factual bio using the language of information. Pick and Mix Choice Learner Autonomy: Pick any one of our English ‘Bucket List’ films (visual texts) and select any TWO activities to complete above. If you are submitting video clips, you must show your work on your own personal device to your teacher in face-to face class time. Due to GDPR, teachers cannot accept Student’s personal videos via staff email.
