Junior Boys Rugby Blitz Success
Well done to the school’s Junior boys rugby team
who played in a blitz at Cill Dara rugby club,
Thursday 26th Sept. in The Curragh. This tough
blitz was to qualify for the Anne McInerney cup in
Leinster.
The boys won two out of their three games. Mr
Dooley & Ms O’ Hagan commended the team’s
success after the blitz stating, ‘there's a lot to be
optimistic about after the team's first outing. The
team showed great attacking potential and gritty
determination when defending. Conor Mooney
led the team well as captain with plenty of other
stand-out performances throughout the team.
Well done all!’
