GREAT PROGRESS MADE ON MAYNOOTH
EDUCATION CAMPUS PROJECT
There has been significant
progress on the Maynooth
Education Campus project. The
envelope works for both schools
on the Campus are complete.
These works were concluded by
Carroll O’ Keeffe LTD and
included
the
paving
and
landscaping of the courtyards in
both schools.
The project has now moved onto
the next phase and the contract
for completion has been
awarded
to
Glasgiven
Contracts. A recent airtight test
has passed and tenders for
classroom equipment will be
issued very soon.

Notably, the fitting out of the two buildings
will take place in tandem with the finishing
of the building project. Both principals
meet weekly with the contractors and are
currently progressing electrical fittings
and appraising ICT equipment.
Principal Siobán McCauley welcomes
recent progress stating, ‘we have a very
exciting time ahead and we are really
looking forward to providing the facilities
that our students deserve’.
Indeed, both principals have positively
affirmed that, ‘the buildings are
progressing well’. A shared sports hall will
follow six weeks later with soft surface
basketball courts. It is envisaged that both
buildings will be completed at the same
time for summer 2020.

Extra
Curricular fundraiser drive.
The raffles for All-Ireland
tickets
proved
quite
popular and a total of
€3,243.00
has
been
raised. This money will be
utilised
across
both
schools’
and
shared
between
many
extracurricular areas. We
thank
you
for
your
continued support and look
forward to a jam packed
and
successful
year
ahead.
