LETTER FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER As the Meadows transitions into the Spring and Summer seasons, I would like to remind all our members and guests what “A Club” stood for 60 years ago in statement that hung in many country clubs. A CLUB Is a Haven of refuge and accord in a world torn by strife and discord; Is a place where kindred spirits gather to have fun and make friends; Is a place of courtesy, good breeding and good manners; Is a place expressly for camaraderie, merriment, goodwill and good cheer; It humbles the mighty, draws out the timid, and casts out the sorehead; And is one of the noblest inventions of mankind. These words hold true even today with all the changes in the club industry as we know it. Today, The Meadows strives to establish traditions, build relationships and create lasting value by listening, learning and serving our members and guests as we transition the club’s relationship with the Meadows community. Our commitment is to provide the highest level of quality, personal service and recognition with continuous improvement for years to come. April is a great time to enjoy the club and all it offers. Season winding down and Summer winding up. Temperatures and conditions for Golf and Tennis are optimal and the calendar is full of events for all Membership levels. Highlights of April are the clubs Easter Buffet on April 21st and the 23rd annual Meadows Cup event on Saturday April 27th. Both events are sure to sell out and are a showcase of exceptional events at the Meadows Country Club. As always, we are available to take your calls if you have any questions. It is my pleasure to serve you, your family and your Guests. We truly appreciate and value your membership and look forward to seeing you at the Club soon. Sincerely, Andrew Kingsley General Manager [email protected] 3
