Coping With an Introvert T here he/she sits in a corner alone during the party; you have been invited to, lost in his/her thoughts and you start to wonder what is wrong with her/him. Within an hour or so, he/she says she/he wants to go home. And the party hasn't even started yet. You start to realize that was what he/she always does when around people, particularly strangers. Does he/she hate people, or just afraid of them? You wonder. Our misunderstanding (if we don't understand them yet) of introverts might stem from the perspective from which we view them. In most cases extroversion is encouraged as that would propel people farther in whatever venture they had chosen. As a result, we tend to look at the world from that perspective. Whoever doesn't reflect the extroversion characteristics maybe looked at as boring, antisocial and maybe going nowhere. However, looking at human nature, we realize that it is a mixture of both extroversion and introversion. Even if it is
