In our school in October we decided to collect can goods for a foodbank. We asked people to bring any can goods or non perishable for items. But thats not all we did, when halloween rolled around instead of asking for candy we asked for and canned or non perishable food items to donate to Winnipeg Harvest. We collected many canned and non perishable food items and we donated it to Winnipeg Harvest in a large truck. We donated a total of 1050 canned goods.
