Pay It Forward

In our school we watched the movie pay it forward, which is about a teacher name Eugene Simonet who gives his class an assignment where they do and act of kindness for someone and then they do something kind to someone else (sort of like a chain). Our grade 8 classes did the same assignment.

I did this because my parents work very hard so I wanted them to feel happy when they wake up. I wanted them to feel as happy as I feel when they care for me. If they're happy in the beginning of the day this will make them motivated to get through the day! We did this project sometime in December during winter break. I think the idea of Pay It Forward is important because your doing something for something without expecting something back. I feel my Pay It Forward made a difference because my parents were in a good mood for the rest of the day!

For my Pay it Forward project, I know it may seem strange but I hung up positive quotes around my house when everyone fell asleep. The reasoning for this is because in the morning people are most likely wanting to crawl back into bed.
