Darine Hotait is an American Lebanese
writer and film director. Her most recent short
film I Say Dust (2015) screened at over 50
international film festivals and received multiple
awards for 'Best Short'. Her work mainly
focuses on bridging literature and cinema while
giving predominance to the science fiction
genre.
Since 2010, Darine has been serving as the
founder and executive director of Cinephilia
productions in New York City. She is currently
working on her debut science fiction feature
film 'Symphony of a Flood' which was recently
selected at the International Screenwriters'
Pavilion at Cannes Film Festival 2016.
She resides in New York City and travels
frequently around the MENA region.

Samah Al Ansari is based in Muscat,
Oman. She majored in Architecture but chose
to pursue her passion in graphic design and
illustration as a freelancer. She loves to paint
during her free time in hopes that one day she
can display her work in an art gallery. Her
passion for art comes from travelling and
music.Samah aspires to bring together
creatives in Oman to establish a network of
