Me Inc. Dec. 2013 | Page 7

My role as an Educator at the Education and Research Department at Infosys was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

During this period, I faced my fear of public speaking head-on. I honed my public speaking skills by giving lectures and presentations on emerging fields of studies. I not only gained the confidence to communicate ably but also learned to face the problems in a structured manner.

Managing and addressing a batch of 180 trainees taught me the importance of motivating and leading people. Multiple crisis situations arose during this period, and I learned to handle them with calm and composure.

Another important aspect of my profile was to evolve the courses to mirror the requirements of the professional world, and thus bridge the gap between the professional and the academic world. This enhanced my abilities to present complex concepts in subtle and interesting ways.
