Mr. Solly Sacks, Chairman of International Mizrachi, spoke to the students in grades 5-8. He described the reunification and the gift in our time of Yerushalayim, Ir Hakodesh. The students were fascinated with the story of the liberation of Yerushalayim by the IDF and the miracle of one small country defending itself against the many enemies. We celebrate our capital of Yerushalayim.
Ms. Tamar Weiss, a religious officer in the IDF, spoke to the girls in grades 4-8. She works in intelligence and described, as best as she was allowed, her role in the protection and safe-keeping of the State of Israel. She explained how important it was to keep the Masoret and at the same time serve the country. Q & A showed how engaged the girls were.
