Antibullying Expert Addresses Parents, Students, Staff

On Monday, we were privileged to have Josh Gunderson as a guest speaker. Josh has appeared on MTV, Comedy Central and Bravo Networks. Over the past five years, he has educated and entertained thousands of students, teachers and parents across North America. Josh spoke to grades 4- 8 about being proper "Digital Citizens." He explained to the students how important it is to think twice before posting something on the internet. He explained that once someone posts something about themselves or someone else, it is going to be on the internet forever. Rivka Eden of 4G stated that she learned that when talking about someone else on the internet " a good rule is to think about whether I would say this to their face." Josh also spoke to the teachers and parents about the dangers of cyber-bullying and the importance of being knowledgeable and more aware of student and child behavior on the internet.
