MDS Messenger Volume 13, Issue 17 | Page 10

There are so many times during each school day when a teacher looks around

the classroom and sees what feels like perfection. Whether students are

busy working with teachers on activities related to our units of study, children are playing together in small groups, children are actively engaged in animated communication in Ivrit, music is playing, KinderGym is getting everyone moving, or children are sitting quietly and listening

intently to story or Parsha time, every day is filled with excitement and discovery.

We often wish that we could share these moments with each of you on a regular basis. To that end, we are kicking off a new effort this week, throughout Early Childhood, to photograph our students during their school days at MDS.

Using a simple "Dropbox" link, we will regularly, securely and privately share our days with our Early Childhood families.

By following the link sent to each family

on any web-enabled PC, Mac,

Tablet or Smartphone (including Blackberry), each family will be able to easily view photos of their child's class, download them and forward them to

whomever they choose. Our new program preserves the privacy of our students

(photos cannot be viewed by anyone who does not have the link), while enabling each family to get a glimpse into our days on the second floor on a regular basis.

We have purchased new classroom cameras and have uploaded our first pictures this week. Our Early Childhood Staff is excited to share our days with each family in this fashion. We offer our thanks to Daniel Solomons and Elisha Hus for their guidance and expertise in getting this new initiative going.
