MDS Messenger Volume 13, Issue 14

Girls, mothers, grandmothers and teachers came together and bonded at this year’s fantastic Ladies’ Night Out.

The evening started off with dancing. There were professional dancers and a D.J. The room was filled with happy faces and dancing. Everyone was having a blast.

With Mrs. Kastner, one of our art teachers, girls decorated there own photo albums with stickers, sparkles, shells, tiles and other great supplies. Delicious food was served, thanks to Aleta and the kitchen staff.

Each year’s skit surpasses the next and this year’s teachers’ skit was no exception. The teachers created an amazing and highly humorous skit with the theme of friendship. Mrs. Dweck and Mrs. B. came together and put on a skit acting as enemies. They sang a song from Wicked with their amazing voices. At the end of the song, they put aside their many differences, including their hair. The teachers all sang a friendship song. We learned a lesson of how important friendship is. Everyone listened to the beautiful songs that were sung by the MDS choir. With Mrs. Meltzer’s help, the choir preformed excellently. Debra Shwartzben and Danna Rebibo worked hard creating a video demonstrating that if you do chesed, eventually it will be passed back to you. At the end of the night, there was an amazing dessert waiting for us. Many people stayed late to continue dancing. All in all, Ladies’ Night out was a huge success.
