of clients Like Railways and Metros,
Power Generation, Distribution and
Transmission, Industrial, Telecom,
Building Construction & Infra etc. The
company has emerged as the preferred
vendor for many prestigious clients
across industries and is proud to be the
sole supplier for Indian Space Research
Organization for specific cables used
in Multi object tracking system. With
strong business model the Company
has developed a well diversified
product range i.e. Railway Signaling
Cables, Control & Instrumentation
Cables, Power Cables, various types of
specialized Cables such as fire survival
Cables, Rubble Cables etc. The Company
has also developed a strong customer
base with many prestigious customers
on its portfolio like Indian Railways,
BHEL, EIL, NTPC, L&T, Siemens, ISRO,
BSNL, MTNL, Oil refineries and many
other PSUs.
Initially the Company (CMI LIMITED)
had only one plant located at Faridabad
– Haryana, which was acquired by the
current Promoter in the year 2007, the
production capacity of this plant, had
reached to optimum level by year 2016,
and there was no further scope in it.
Looking at needs and demand for the
growing cable business in India and the
possibilities of Exports, the promoters
decided for further expansion and thus
acquired a Plant in Baddi- Himachal
Pradesh in Feb. 2016. This facility at
Baddi was set up by a fortune 500 US
based Company M/s General Cables in
2012 and since General cables wanted
an exit from Asia Pacific the opportunity
was availed by CMI Energy India Pvt.
