Eco-Tips

1. If you finish your drink, take the container to the trash can, if it is possible,to a recycling container.

2. Use cloth bags to carry stuff, such as food, towels...

3. If you are in a hotel or cabin, try to keep the windows open instead of using the air conditioner; that helps to save energy.

4. Don’t hurt the any animals and don´t give them food.

5. An eco-tour allows participants to experience nature in a way that is educational, while fostering an understanding of the environment.

6. Try to carpool when going to the campsite. Once there, do your exploring on foot or bike only, making sure to stay on the trails and wear soft-soled shoes.

7. Take rechargeable batteries with you, along with a solar charger, and remove the packaging from objects you put in your case.

8. Before you leave, turn off all electric switches.

9.Use public transport, buses and trains consume a third of the fuel per person than the fuel a car consumes over the same distance. Rent a bicycle or walk where you can. You’ll learn more about the place that way.

10. Use eco-friendly repellents.
