Old Collegians in the News
Congratulations to all our recent graduates.
Modise
Sefume
(2010), our MCOBA
Pretoria branch chairman, obtained his BA
Law Degree from the
University of Pretoria.
Hearty congrats from all OCs go to two Old Boys
who have recently enjoyed noble success: Judge
Kevin Swain (1967), who has been elevated to the
rarefied air of the Supreme Court of Appeal (SCA)
in Bloemfontein, and Kevin Wakeford (1978), the
new CEO of pharmaceuticals giant, Adcock
Ingram. Well done, gentlemen - your alma mater
salutes you!
We received news about from Muhammed Bilaal
Ismail. He has just completed a Masters degree in
chemistry (cum laude) and is currently working on
a PhD in medicinal inorganic chemistry at UKZN in
Pietermaritzburg. He has also recently received a
national award by the Golden Key International
Honour Society, namely Student Leader of the
Year 2013 for leadership, community service and
academic achievement.
Muhammed matriculated from college in 2006 with 7 A symbols, and
hopes to continue on the foundation that College
has provided him and to keep making his old
school proud. All the best young man.

Letter from a College mum. “Do you remember
the flags you gave the Dove boys a few years ago?
Well, I thought you would be proud to see how far
and wide they travel. Here is a recent pic of Matt
in Afghanistan with his College flag. So amusing
that it was prioritised and safely packed along
with the very few personal belongings they are
permitted to take with them. Proud College boys
indeed!”
