STAFF SPOTLIGHT
Diane Beckrich - Admin Assistant
Diane and her husband , Jerry , live on a beef and sheep farm in Cologne . Along with raising animals , they also crop farm corn , soybeans and alfalfa . They have three sons , Jake , Phil , and Thomas , that help out on the farm with chores and field work as needed . Their grandchildren , Lane , Kash and Courtney , love to come to the farm and help out too .
At Mid-County , Diane works with agronomy , LP and bulk fuel calls and invoices , enters data for the two Holiday stores and the shop , works with payroll and employee benefits , among many other duties . She enjoys her daily interaction with the customers .
When she is not at work or doing chores , Diane loves being a 4H leader , gardening , sewing , and spending time with her family and friends .
Ryan Pawelk - Sales Agronomist
Ryan is one of our sales agronomists here at Mid-County . He grew up in Hollywood Township near New Germany and currently lives in Watertown . Ryan attended Ridgewater College in Willmar and received his AAS degree in Agriculture Business . He also attended Southwest Minnesota State in Marshall and earned a degree in Crops , Soils and Pest Management .
What Ryan enjoys most about working at Mid-County is being able to work with the farmers and help them produce their crops . He also enjoys being outside and scouting fields , how variable the job is , and that there is always something different going on .
Outside of work , Ryan like ’ s playing softball and volleyball in the summer , and bowling in the fall and winter months . He enjoys a great BBQ , sitting at bonfires , and visiting historic sites . What he loves most is spending time with his family , his wife Bria , 8 year old son Peyton , and 2 year old daughter Collins .
Alex Klaustermeier- Custom Applicator
Alex has worked in the Agronomy Department since 2013 . He grew up on his parent ’ s , Mark and Nissa Klaustermeier , farm in rural Cologne bringing a great agriculture background with him . He also earned a degree in farm operations / management from Ridgewater College in Willmar . Alex started out as an intern doing crop scouting and soil sampling but soon was promoted to a custom applicator . He also helps out delivering propane for our Petroleum Department which is an added bonus to Mid-County .
Alex still enjoys farming with his family raising cattle and crop farming . He is also getting married this fall to his fiancé , Katie Rolf . Congratulations !
Missie Beckmann - Manager ( Waverly )
Missie Beckmann is the Manager of Mid-County Holiday of Waverly . She has worked in the customer service field for 26 years and has been with Mid-County for 8 years . She really enjoys working with her enthusiastic associates at the Waverly store . Over the last four years it has been a pleasure for her to get to know the customers from Waverly and other communities .
When not at work , Missie enjoys spending time with her fiancé , Shane , and friends , and going camping ! She tries to make trips often to see her mom who lives in Mapleton , Minnesota . Missie also has a daughter , Elizabeth , who lives in Oklahoma and works in the medical field .
