Scholarships The USQ Artsworx McGregor Retreats and the Friends of McGregor offer various full and part scholarships. These are available in any medium that is offered. Selection for all scholarships will be made by a consensus rating of the Friends of McGregor Committee and USQ Artsworx staff, based on: • Location of student; • Artistic potential, and/or • Degree of financial need for assistance MARGARET CLIFFORD SCHOLARSHIP Margaret was the Administrator and Manager of the McGregor Schools for 27 years. This Scholarship is presented in recognition of her significant contribution. This is a full tuition scholarship. BUNTY GRIFFITHS SCHOLARSHIP Bunty was the Chancellor of USQ 1990 and prior was Chairman of Council DDIAE 1971-1989 and a great supporter and regular student of the McGregor Schools. This is a full tuition scholarship. PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIPS There are also part scholarships made available from the Friends of McGregor Committee. These scholarships apply to tuition only and students from all classes are encouraged to apply. APPLICATION The application form will be treated as a tentative booking and a place held for the applicant in the class of their choice (and accommodation held if required). Applicants are asked not to submit payment until the scholarships have been awarded and the amount owing can be calculated, if any. Should an applicant be unsuccessful and still wish to attend, the Early Bird discount period will be extended to allow them to take advantage of this offer. NB No retrospective scholarship submissions will be accepted if the applicant has enrolled and paid the full fee.
