The State Writing Test Results reflect a newly revised and harder method of scoring the first time for the 4th graders. (This is the 2nd year for 8th and 11th grades.) Since 2012 there are more rigorous, college and career ready standards in place as well as a newly revised and weighted rubric that uses analytic scoring to provide subscores in the four domains of writing.
