The Roebuck Inn sits at the heart of a small
village called Laughton in East Sussex.
After a period of closure, the property was
bought by local resident Rachel XXX in 2014
who then fully refurbished and leased it to
McCartans who opened it once again to
the public in May 2015.

There is a second barrel drop hatch which

front of the building.
The first floor is accessed via stairs from the
ground floor area and features the original

Stairs lead up from here to an attic
conversion on the top/second floor which
is now used as a third bedroom used by
bar manager.
Each features a double bed and their own
private en-suite bathrooms. 3 are located
on the ground floor with the 4th being
accessed via an internal staircase to the
first floor.
The property is set within its own private
grounds that include a hard standing
carpark to the front and side as well as
large garden, storage and overflow
parking area to the rear.
The garden area is fenced and includes
tables and garden furniture for guests as
well as a pig pen housing two pigs,
chicken coups for the 10+ hens and a coy
carp fish pond.
There is a fenced and secured sterile area
behind the kitchen, accessible only by

staff as well as a locked and controlled
gas storage unit. Waste is contained and
managed in the rear carpark area away
from the garden area and utilising council
approved paladins and commercial
recycling and waste storage units.
