1. The Beatles had two left hander
members: Paul McCartney and
Ringo Starr.

band was a 5-piece called ‘The

This term we have been continuing our Brownie 100
year challenge by making Dragon boats. We made
them in our Sixes and Patrols and then raced them
over a course. “It was great fun.” Said Alya. Everyone had a great time. The race was very close but
the Panda Patrol won in the end, well done to them.

Year 7 Geography
At the end of last term the Year 7 used
a presentation program called Prezi to
create Learning Journeys that they had
made during the Weather and Climate
topic.
how. It was really positive to hear how
much they had enjoyed the different
activities used to guide their learning
and how the microclimates project
stood out for so many of them.
I was really impressed with all the
fantastic learning that had clearly
gone on in the lessons. Many of the
pupils shared what they knew before
they started the topic, what it was they
wished to learn about weather and
climate and what they did learn and
As a class we enjoyed watching each
other’s presentations with commentary
and then gave feedback on them
ensuring it was supportive by giving
WWW’s (What Went Well) and EBI’s
(Even Better If’s).
