Why’s it important to be future focused?
A major realization for me was that knowledge of
the tech world is fast becoming essential—not just
for developers but for anyone who wants to work
within a disruptive company or around Silicon
Valley. Gaining deep insight into disruptive tech at
Hult helped me land an internship at Firework, one
of the fastest-growing interactive video platforms
on mobile.
What’s been your favorite course so far?
Data & AI with Professor Olaf Groth really
opened my eyes. The course was so relevant
and disruptive. Olaf brought in a lot of burning
issues, such as data privacy and Congress, and
challenged us to think about the morality of
this and how it impacts different stakeholders.
We had a lot of hot debates in class about what
is happening in the U.S. right now!
What does the future look like to you?
There are lots of unknowns about the future.
But this has helped me define where to focus and
firmly put myself in conversations about my career
development. I can show myself as someone who
can add value to these conversations and solidify
myself within the leadership team.
